Hazel Jackson

	This friendly grad is renowned for her beautiful soprano singing. Hazel is an active member of Job's Daughters and is interested in Demolay (Athies Chapter). She has plans to go to Europe in '69 after which she will settle down and further her singing seriously.
Dave Jenkins

	Also known as "Hughy" the president of class 3 was kept busy this year by working at Woodwards. Dave's interest lies in the field of sports especially watching and playing football and rugby. Dave would like to go down to the States to play football on a scholarship.	Dave lives in Sechelt with his wife Maria and their son Owen (2 1/2) and twins Sarah and Megan (5 mos.). There he makes his living, as he has done for 15 years, as a fisherman. He wants to say a large "HELLO" to Claudia. Don't we all.
Gordon Jenkins

	Another of Point's car enthusiasts, Gordie could often be found in the automotive shops tinkering with engines. He also enjoys swimming and other outdoor sports. Gord plans to enter V.C.C. after grad but he does not yet know in what field he will specialize.
Marianne Johnson

	Athletically inclined, Pinky played basketball and was a member of the Senior Grasshockey team and the Tennis Club. She was also on the Pointer staff. Her interests include sports of all kinds as well as sewing, weaving and creative dancing. Pinky's future career is still undecided but perhaps we will see her at U.B.C. or S.F.U. next year.	"Pinky" is an interior designer, having trained at the Rudolph Schaffer School of Design in San Francisco. This followed a degree from UBC and teaching. She now lives preciously close to Point, and has absolutely no plans for the future.
Rita Johnson

	Usually known for her laughter, this happy-go-lucky grad loves skiing, swimming, and playing scorching rounds of golf. For awhile after grad, Barb plans to work at Woodwards, after which she will take off into the wild blue yonder—to Europe!
Teresa Joiner

Brian Jones

	In school, assignments take up Brian's time while out of school he enjoys working on cars, riding and skiing with the hundreds who head for the hills on the weekends. Future plans of Brian's are to attend U.B.C. or an equivalent elsewhere for three years.
Carol Jones

	When this newcomer to Point is not flying in the air she is flying down the mountain slopes After grad Carol plans to go to California and then would like to go to Europe again for as long as her money lasts. Someday she hopes to get a commercial flying license.
Kathie Jones (Smythe)

	Kathy is a member of the House Council this year, as well as the tennis club. Outside activities include skiing and horseback riding. Another grad who hopes to see Europe, Kathy's future lies up in the sky as a stewardess.	Kathi's present occupation is "mother," and with 2 boys under age 6, she no doubt works double shifts. Kathi has been married to husband Barrie for 10 years, before that, she managed to travel in Europe for a while, and was employed as an executive assistant, among other things. When she isn't on shift, Kathi is an avid sailor and skier, and even finds time to volunteer!
Sherrill Kautz (Sanderson)

	This year Sherrill has played basketball and was a member of the grad decorations committee. In her free time she enjoys oil painting and is a member of Job's Daughters. After leaving Point she plans to study Interior Design at the University of Manitoba.	Sherrill graduated from SFU with a B.A. in Archaeology. She worked in the curatorial division of the Vancouver Museum and continued archaeology field work. She became the Archival Conservator for the Vancouver City Archives in 1977, and an intern with the Canadian Conservation Institute, Ottawa in 1981. She married Edward and moved to the U.S. in 1982. Sherrill is now a museum consultant and lives with Edward in Voorhees, NJ.
Chris Kelly
	1968…	2008…	2008… Will be attending Reunion.
	Active and popular this year, Chris was chairman of the Centennial Committee and was a member of the Basketball Team, Ski Club and Chess Club. His activities are varied and include skiing, glob hunting, sailing, Young Life and general hell-raising. Planned for his future is enrollment at S.F.U. followed by gold digging, world travel and ski bumming!!	It would appear that I had such a good time in school, I never left! 32 years as a teacher and administrator in four school districts: Surrey for one year teaching street kids in a convent; North Vancouver for 17 years with a great array of experiences; Richmond for 9 and now my 5th as Superintendent of Schools for Vancouver! I know. Say no more. And I want to say that the schools, and the people doing what they're doing in them, in this complicated city, are just plain remarkable. By the way, every person in this picture with me is a Vancouver Principal. Not quite the standard image we grew up with, eh what? Apart from an early escapade in Australia, Vancouver has remained my home. Life has been good, and is becoming ever more precious. I hope it feels the same for you.

	Joan has been a great participator in school activities this year especially in Annual work, grad decorations and as a supporter of Rome House. She enjoys curling, skiing and music in her spare time. Joan will attend City College for a year and then will go in training at V.G.H. where she will make a great nurse. Best Wishes, Joan.
Norman Kibblewhite

	Norm is a racing bug! He loves racing boats, or cars, or anything else that can be raced. After graduation he plans to work for awhile and then possibly attend university later on. His ambition is to see the world.
Tara Kirkpatrick

	Tara’s grade twelve tear was kept busy with many activities, the foremost being Sports Rep for Rome House. Outside of school she is a member of Young Life plus enjoys skiing and sewing. She will attend UBC next year on a Science program and hopes to travel sometime in the future.
Crystal Koo

	Crystal helped make the lovely costumes of the Paris House talent show. Being extremely skilled with needle and thread, she enjoys sewing in her spare time. Skating and playing the piano also held her interest. Like many of the grads, Crystal's future plans include U.B.C. and Europe.
Marianne Krayenhoff (MacDonald)

	Assistant-Editor of the Pointer, Marianne's interests are tied up in art and human beings. She was one of several who appeared on "Know the Scene" for Point. Marianne would like to take up the study of humanities after a year of experience in travel.	I ‘done my time’ in various parts of the public sector (libraries and schools), but my husband and I are now semi-retired on a beautiful acreage near Oliver in the South Okanagan. We have had the great fortune of having been able to raise our daughters in beautiful, natural settings and are now able to spend lots of time with our grandchildren, who are in the area, as well as with my elderly mother. And just to keep busy, I am presently running a home-based business selling natural soaps, body- and baby-care products.
Liz Lake (Graham)

	President of London House this year, Liz was also a member of the Senior Choir. Her outside activities include sewing and singing lessons. After leaving Point she will take psychology at U.B.C. and then tour Europe after her first year.	I'm looking forward to the reunion… But what an exercise -- summarizing the last 20 to 30 years in a few short paragraphs! Even more challenging than the annual Christmas letter! In 1993, I married Mike Graham and acquired a couple more kids. The family is now comprised of Angus Graham, 33 in Vancouver; Flora Graham, 30 in London, England; Christina Harris, 30 and her wife Kathryn in Victoria; and Janna Harris, 27 in Vancouver. Mike and I have been living in Victoria for the past 7 years. When he retired from the Province newspaper in 1995, we started a B&B on Kits Point which we ran for 5 years while I was still working for the Vancouver School Board. When I figured out that the mortgage payments were exactly what I was earning as a school psychologist, and that the real estate in Victoria was half the price, it didn't take an IQ test to start us packing! And the weather's better, too! We moved over here and started Annabelle's Cottage -- another B&B which we also ran for 5 years. Enough of that! Now I spend my time doing stuff I love -- working in fabric arts, singing in the choir, walking the dog and collecting a wee pension. My latest endeavour is to begin training as a lay chaplain for the Unitarian Church. In a year, I'll	2008… Continued be performing marriages, memorials and child dedications for members of the general public. Life is good!.
Maureen Lamb

	This bright-minded grad has definite plans for the future. Maureen has applied and has been accepted for the nursing class at V.G.H. in September '68. Her spare time is spent working as a cashier at Super-Valu. Maureen would like a trip to Nassau fairly soon.
Ron Larkin

	Ron is another of Point’s many motorcycle enthusiasts. He enjoys drag racing at Mission, and just motorcycling around. After graduating, Ron is going to tour America, but he is still uncertain of any other future plans.
Ted Leake

	New to Point this year Ted's interests are stated as girls, the outdoors and duck hunting. A famous duck hunter?? Although his future plans are undecided, Ted would definitely like to travel. His only interest at school is to graduate.	Ted lives in Delta with his wife Patricia their son Jeffrey (2 1/2) and daughter, Emily (6 mos.). Once upon a time Ted found himself selling real estate, and he continues this activity today in Tsawassen. As for the rest of his story about the past 20 years, he wouldn't know where to begin.
David Lee

	This intellect, a National Merit winner is in the Wrestling Club at school. Out of school Dave is interested in skin diving, his two chess clubs, C.S.F., A.F.S., M.A.C.C. and C.C.I.G.A. Future plans include University of California, then a transfer to Cornwall to get his Ph.D. or M.D. or both.
Joe Leong
	1968…	2008…	2008… Will be attending Reunion.
	A hard working student on the science program Joe spends most of his time working on those tough courses. This would seem reasonable as after grad Joe plans to go to U.B.C. to get his degree in medicine. In not so many years, "Dr. Leong"	After graduating from UBC, I was driven to try living outside of the lower-mainland, so my wife Maley and I ‘tried Kamloops for awhile’ – and the rest, as they say, is history – 35 years worth anyways! And, surprise, surprise, four of our five Kamloops-raised ‘children’ are back in the big city… The majority of my working-years have been self-employed as the owner/operator of a restaurant (23 years!) and then a ‘need for a slight change’ got me involved in then retail aspects of a computer store for about ten years. During this time I was also a Director with the Thompson-Nicola Regional District and continue to serve (15 years!) as a Councilor with the City of Kamloops. I have been able to devote a considerable amount of my professional and personal time in supporting initiatives of the local Chinese and Multicultural Societies which in turn has provided opportunities for considerable travel to China, Japan, Hong Kong, the Philippines as well as much of Canada! Currently, as a founding member of the Western Canada Heritage Centre Association, I am very proud to be part of the team building the “Heroes of Confederation Chinese Heritage Railway Workers' Museum” in	2008… Continued conjunction with the ‘Kamloops Heritage Railway Museum’. I am also actively helping the local Chinese Cultural Association and Chinese Freemasons work together to raise money for the China-Sichuan Earthquake Relief Fund.
Lorne Little

	This talented musician was a member of the Pep Band and enjoys music of all kinds. He participates in house volleyball and basketball and is a member of the Grad Committee. Lorne's plans for after graduation aren't certain, but with his talent we expect to hear a good deal of him in future years.
Bob Lisle

	At the Centennial Fair, Bob could be found officiating at the pie-throwing booth! Outside of school he plays hockey, likes to skin-dive, and belongs to B.H.F. Bob plans on further education at V.C.C. or U.B.C. and then a trip to Europe in 1970.	For 3 years after graduation, Bob divided his time equally between studies at UBC and cab driving. Then he studied marketing technology at BCIT, and has been a Sales Rep. with Nabisco since 1980. In 1984 he married his wife Prapason, formerly of Thailand. They have a daughter age 2 1/2 and another child due in August. Last year Bob bit the bullet and moved out of Kits to Maple Ridge. His future plans centre around moving back!
Heather Lissel (Naesgaard)

	Vice-President of class 2, this friendly grad has been active in basketball and was on the sub-committee for grad decorations. Skiing and piano playing occupy Heather's spare time. After graduation she will attend U.B.C. to obtain her teaching degree.	Heather started out as an elementary school teacher: She taught grade 2, and ESL in grades K through 8. At some point she left this field and set herself up as a health/ nutrition/lifestyle consultant. Apparently she wants to further this career in the future. Heather lives in North Vancouver.
Tom Lockhart

	Tom, "Mr. Greave's Math Master" is well known for his mathematical and scientific abilities. An industrious member of the Electronics Club, with his scientifically geared mind, we are sure Tom will go far in this chosen field.
Bruce Lowe

	Bruce is interested in cars, girls, and math. When he can get away from school and chores he indulges in drag racing. After graduation Bruce would like to make a little noise by training to become a disc jockey for one of the local stations.
Marlaine Lundy

	Marlaine has a number of future ambitions such as training to become an elementary school teacher and then becoming a stewardess for International Airlines. She enjoys horseback riding, swimming, skating and badminton and is also a member of Hi-C.
